Spring is here.
Spring is here and I'm excited to share some of my favorite items for Spring. Spring is probably my favorite season of the year. We get the best of both worlds, especially living in Southern California. The weather is so unpredictable! From a day to the beach, to dressing warm and cozy, to layering it up, you can do it all! Be bold, be creative, BE YOU.
Getting into my spring favorites, one of my favorite fashion accessories during the spring time are sunglasses. My favorite place to purchase sunglasses has to be Aldo. If you're like me, I either loose them or break them LOL. The quality of the sunglasses at Aldo are perfect AND their affordable. I've dropped my sunglasses so many times and have yet to break one.
Next, as much as I could live with just my Converse and Nikes, sandals are the way to go for Spring. My favorite pair of sandals at the moment are the white Athena's from Luxtrada. I've recently traveled out of state and wore these to and from the airport. They are seriously probably the most comfortable pair of sandals I have and they look great with anything! Lace is also another one of my favorites for Spring! It's simple, elegant, and classy.
Hats and shoulder bags are also my favorite accessories to style in Spring. Hats have been my favorite lately, whether it's to work out, a day at the beach, or a day out with friends. There are so many different styled hats and so many different ways to style them ( this will be saved for a different post ;) hehe) . Shoulder bags are also great for spring! The black Michael Kors jet set chain shoulder bag is so universal and can be styled with everything. It's small but has enough space to fit all your necessities.
Last but not least, flowers are my ultimate favorites for Spring. Flowers are one thing that can automatically put a smile on my face. It's the beauty of it's formation, color, and the process to blossom into something so beautiful that makes me happy.
If you think about it, our lives are similar to the process and growth of a beautiful flower. It takes something so small to become something so big. Just as it takes the sun and water to help the growth process of a flower, it takes experiences and a roller coaster of emotions to be the person you want to be. To find yourself. To be someone strong, wise and someone who could inspire others with your story. Get rid of the bad roots in your life that hold you back from being able to grow. Get rid of the rotten soil blocking you from the opportunities that meant for you. I'm probably not the first to tell you but after letting go and blocking one of the most negative and toxic person in my life, so many blessings and doors of opportunities have opened up. Yes, it's hard, especially when all you want to do is try and hope that things will work out, but sometimes you have to trust that life is better without specific people/things. Life is beautiful, don't waste your time on negativity or negative people. The moment you get rid of all things negative, is the moment where you'll feel so refreshed and renewed.
Believe in yourself.
