I realized as I got older, the more I started to care about my skin and what I put on my face. When I was in middle school, the only thing I ever used was sunblock. I don't think I cared so much about make up until my sophomore/junior year of highschool. I started experimenting with all sorts of make up and for a moment became obsessed. Watched tutorials on YouTube, tried the most talked about products from foundation, to mascara, to eyeliner, until I found my favorites. Watched makeup tutorials, what not to do with your makeup, etc. I remember when I tried one of Revlon's foundations, my face got so dry, I even started to get a rash in a matter of seconds! I freaked out! It was a scary moment LOL.
I love make up as I do with fashion. it's another way to share your creativity. It's beauty, it's art. Your face is like a canvas where you can just create your own masterpiece.
When you wear makeup everyday, it's important to take care of your skin. My skin is dry and somewhat sensitive so I'm very cautious of what I put on my face. Nothing beats being able to wash off a face full of make up and feeling fresh before going to sleep. I got questions of what type of face wash I use so I thought I'd share some of the products I use before I go to bed. I honestly don't use much:
- Ponds make up remover towelettes - by far one of the best I've tried and great if you have sensitive skin like mine.
- Clearasil Hydra-Blast Oil Free Face Wash - i love the way my skin feels after I use this, following the clearasil ultra rapid action pads.
- Cleaarsil Ultra Rapid Action Pads - Definitely one of my favorites and a must have!
- Last but not least, my all time favorite moisturizer that I've used since who knows when, is from Clnique.
