Cherish the moment.
As a blogger/influencer, I noticed that I'm 90% of the time on my phone "working". I rarely respond to texts right away because once I'm in the zone of working on my blog, finding inspiration, or writing down the random ideas that pop in my head, I try not to get distracted by anything else. Once my mind goes into full work mode, it doesn't stop. Everyday I'm learning something new in this industry that I started and it's exciting yet overwhelming. Social media is a completely different world when you're running it on the business end of things! Just when you think you have a momentum going, something changes and well in this industry, I found that you have to be able to adapt to change FAST.
I keep this pictured frame that I received from Renewed Daily " Learn to Rest" in my room and it's something I cherish every single day. I keep it in an area where it's always noticed, never missed. It's a daily reminder for me to REST; to take a break away from my phone and social media and to not work so hard. There are days where I'll put my phone on silent, on do not disturb or will often times, just leave it behind. It's important to allow yourself to rest and rejuvenate your mind. Embrace the world around you, engage with the random strangers that pass you daily, and just observe the everyday life without the distraction of technology.
I encourage you to live in the moment and to cherish life without worrying about posting on Snap Chat, Instagram, Facebook, etc. Life is beautiful!
